Silverlining is proud to announce a remarkable double victory at the prestigious 2025 Boat Artistry and Craft Awards. Our team’s commitment to innovation and excellence in luxury furniture craftsmanship has been recognized with two major wins: Emerging Artisan of the Year for Poppy Pawsey and Outstanding Collaboration for our exquisite Chinoiserie Marquetry Panels aboard the superyacht Kismet.

A Rising Star in Craftsmanship: Poppy Pawsey Wins Emerging Artisan of the Year Award
Poppy Pawsey, Marquetarian at Silverlining Furniture, has been honoured as the Emerging Artisan of the Year, a testament to her extraordinary journey in mastering the intricate art of marquetry. Since joining Silverlining Furniture in February 2023 without prior experience in furniture-making, Poppy has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to her craft. Her contributions to high-profile projects, including the bespoke games table for the superyacht Kismet, have showcased her precision, creativity, and artistic growth.

Pushing Boundaries: Outstanding Collaboration Award for Chinoiserie Marquetry Panels
Silverlining Furniture has also triumphed in the Outstanding Collaboration Award category for the work on a series of 29 stunning Chinoiserie Marquetry Wall Panels, created for the master suite of the 122-metre superyacht Motor Yacht Kismet. This ambitious project was a collaboration between Silverlining’s artisans, engineers, and the interior design team at Reymond Langton.
The project seamlessly blended traditional chinoiserie motifs—featuring intricate depictions of flora and fauna—with modern materials such as Dubai gold metallised resin and cracked black resin. Over 14 months, the team meticulously crafted and installed the panels, integrating advanced techniques like laser cutting and etching, and resin casting to achieve an unparalleled fusion of old-world elegance and contemporary sophistication.
